And if I remember correctly the WT dongles are USB. On the GHL guitar - The dongle must be for the 360, but any controller will sync to it. You might have to force the Xbox 360 Controller drivers onto it to make it work properly. It doesn't, GHLtar Utility allows using PS3 and WiiU dongles and iOS guitars on Windows.
Just buying a random dongle won't do you any good. EBay has a ton of wired guitar controllers. They're compatible with any rock band or Guitar Hero game on ps2 and fairly inexpensive. It depends which Guitar Hero you have. Any of the Guitar Hero games except for Guitar Hero 1, 2, Rock the 80s and 3 have a band mode which lets 2-4 people play at once. Search and download clone hero. Get songs from the chorus website (listed on the clone hero sub Reddit).
