If the battery is the original, change the battery. I have a 2007 and had the original battery died last month - it tested fine several weeks earlier. The electronics in these cars are so sensitive that once the battery starts to go, gremlins pop up everywhere. Reply Like. 03-23-2016, 10:38 AM. # 9.
Slow Crank. Hi all, I have a 2006 Audi Q7 3.0d - keyless push start. When I start the car from cold, the engine does not start first time. I have to press the engine start button and leave the car ignition on for around 20 seconds. Then when I fire the engine, it starts first time. A brand new battery fitted. It tends to be worse in cold weather. If you have 2 keys and it does not start, try this procedure. The Passlock system has two basic relearn procedures—a ten-minute procedure and a thirty-minute procedure. Which one you use depends on the system and what components have been replaced. The ten-minute procedure involves trying to start the engine. VIN: WA1CM74L59D032053. I notice the following when engine cannot crank. 1- Temperature gauge does not move. 2- Front cooling fan running in full speed when ignition on. 3- VCDS cannot communicate with ECM. I have no idea what going on as I think adaptation would not damage the ECM, anyone experience with this issue, please share and advise.
Milpitas2.7T. 2010 Q5 3.2 Won't start cranks, but won't start. Had the intake apart. Replaced water pump/thermostat. Will crank but never catches. Lower battery , but enough as you will hear that it should be able to start. (I'm letting it charge over night to see, but it's at about 73% right now).
I know the battery was low at that point but the car was able to crank over at around 170-200rpm. I have since recharged the battery and attempted to start it and the result is the same. Wiring to each injector is ok and the injector coil values are all around 130K ohms. The ECU is getting power on the three main supply wires and the three main

If there is an oil leak in the tensioner (where it can activate it), it will make the chain effectively "longer" and the camshaft (s) out of time. That will make a lot of noise and affect the engine performance.

2008 Q7 will not start sometimes. When the car runs it does really well but on occasion it will not start, it will turn over but will not fire. After several attempts it may or may not start. It may also go for a week or two and do fine and then all of a sudden it will not start. I have installed a new crank position sensor and a new battery
after i finished doing a major job on this audi , all of a sudden there was no crank no start problem, i looked for relays in my car and found that the ones
