I spotted a used 2017 Audi A4 Allroad Premium Plus that looks impeccable, the CARFAX is clean, one owner, no reported damage, all the routine checkups and maintenance, but it has a ton of miles on it for a 3-4 year old car (86K and change).
Is a used Audi A4 Allroad estate reliable? In the most recent What Car? Reliability Survey, the standard A4 saloon ranked ninth and 15th in petrol and diesel guises respectively, out of 18 models The A4 will be cheaper to run and repair. The A6 will have greater refinement. That's what I thought at first as well, from my research, new engines ( Gen3 etc) are much more reliable. Since my current car is Octavia vRS, I'm looking for a sportier/smaller car, which is why I personally prefer A4 over A6. The Audi Allroad is a wagon crossover version of the widely successful Audi A4 platform. It is based on the Audi A4. The Audi Allroad is directly competing with vehicles such as the Subaru Outback. The Audi Allroad receives good marks for dependability.A4 allroad (B8 Platform) Discussion - Audi A4 allroad reliability - I wanted more up-to-date car reliability information that made the differences between cars clearer. So a few years ago I started getting people together to make this possible. TrueDelta now updates actual repair frequencies, not just dots, four times
I've finally settled on Audi. I've always loved them (aggressive and sporting styling after 2013+ models) but thought they were expensive. I've been looking around and been finding B8.5s for about $7k - $10k in my area, with maybe about 100k+ miles.
