The BMW i4 is available with different audio configurations; in this review, we take a look at the upgraded Harman Kardon system - watch the video to see how
Are you looking at a Volvo XC60 and not sure which audio system to get? In this video, I go into depth comparing the Harmon/Kardon system to the Bowers and W thorgal_24 · #2 · Apr 5, 2017. I tested HK and B&W in G30 while test driving 530i and 540i. The B&W was remarkably better for my ears. The music tracks I tested were in hi resolution, 24 bit and dsd. So I'm assuming that HK would be a good step above standard, and B&W a few steps higher.
If you've been using it stock or only adjusting the bass, treble, and surround, you are not taking advantage of even a fraction of what the system is capable of. Even Spotify sounds so much better now, but if you can get proper high quality audio files then you can truly bring it to life. YouTube Music was a bit disappointing in terms of quality.
Neither company is exactly perfect, each with its own set of unique pros and cons. In the end, it comes down to a few key considerations: Harman Kardon has the lower average price and the better sound over Bose. Bose, on the other hand, has more recognizable brands and a wider range of products in its catalog. The Diamond Surround Sound System features no fewer than 30 speakers, driven by a 1615 watt 28-channel amplifier. The configuration includes a 25mm B&W Nautilus Diamond Dome tweeter in each of the front doors and a two-way centre speaker on top of the dashboard. Because the iX is an all-electric vehicle, B&W has more options for the location of
Harman ruined AKG, so I don't like them. AKG made the best and most innovative headphones (give a listen to a K-1000 if you get the chance). Harman discontinued the good stuff and has only released crap since. They even released the K-701 when it was voiced incorrectly. Such a shame. I won't buy any of their products now.
Thinking about ordering the M50 and was wondering what the thoughts were about getting the Harman Kardon surround sound option. We currently have 2 BMWs with HK (435 convertible and X3), previously had a 3 series with it and older 3 series without it. 25mm/100mm tweeter/mid-range combination, 25watts. Center Channel: 100mm mid-range, 25 watts. Rear Door (x2): 100mm mid-range, 25 watts. Optional "Top Hi-Fi" in some markets, "HK" in other markets: 445 watt HK amp (known as "RAM") Additional "Booster Module" to boost signal from Amp to the low-frequency speakers. AoV2gn.
