Xenon headlights have a ballast to ignite the high voltage xenon lights when they turn on that can remain energized even if the lights are turned off. Be sure to disconnect the headlight assembly or battery before attempting to replace it. If your RX350 has a HID headlight burnt out, it could be a burnt out bulb or failed headlight ballast.
3. The next step is to actually remove the bulb from the headlamp. Always replace bulbs in pairs, as when one bulb fails, this is a clear indicator to replace the other one. In addition, Xenon bulbs can often become slightly discoloured over the course of their lifetime, so replacing in pairs will ensure colour match for both bulbs.
Installation with Warning Canceller / Anti-Flicker. Connect the 9005 Xenon HID bulb to the controller. Connect the 9005 Xenon HID bulb to the warning canceller. Connect the warning canceller to the ballast. Insert and secure the 9005 Xenon HID bulb into the assembly. Plug the 9005 Xenon HID to vehicle's OEM factory harness.

On models with high intensity discharge (HID) or Xenon lights, the HID module is located at the bottom of the headlight. Water can enter the module electrical connector causing headlight faults. If this happens to you, you will have to replace the headlight, the electrical harness and the HID module.
