Theonly thing I can think of is that the data didn't fully delete or you only deleted part of it, and maybe the disc is reading a corrupt install and then not working. I don't know if you want to do this, but you might want to try going through the PS4 files and deleting everything AC4, besides your "save data". Then try the disc again.

PS4 saves are encrypted and signed to the user account. 1Locate your Assasin's Creed saves folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegame\4923) and back it up in a different place. 2. Open this folder - you will see a set of numbered pairs of *.save and * (sometimes it's just *.save files). Pick only one of the *.save files and delete all the rest. Iwas level 32 went to do the Ambush at Sea mission and it glitched, so I reset quest objective. When I got out of mission I had lost everything from gear, all of it mounts and outfits included. Also lost everything in inventory, all resources, quest items, and drachmas. In contact with ubisoft, but just a warning for that specific mission. FiguredOrigins would be the same but it definitely isn't. I'll fast travel somewhere (where it will save), then decide i'll want to take a break so I'll pause to the map, then go to the main menu (left on D PAD). Press the buton to turn it off then quickly stop because I'll see it autosaves (it autosaves, stops, then saves right again). HLkqm.
